We refer to ourselves at "Family Vision Care" and NOT "Family Vision Center." We are unlike those "vision centers" that lure you in on low price advertising only to give you a 5-minute exam and sell you cheap glasses. Most "vision centers" typically have a philosophy to "make the sell.  Many of the doctors in "vision centers" are pressured to recommend glasses to most everyone. That means you or your family member might be recommended to get glasses whether you need them or not. These "vision centers" hire doctors to sell glasses and not perform an eye health evaluation. Some "vision centers" offer virtual eye exams, which can reduce the quality of care and miss important eye health issues. You are usually rushed with 5-minute exams as the doctor hurries through.  That's a poor philosophy when you manage a person's eye health.

Here, at FVC, you will get an honest evaluation and know if you or your family members need our help. In most cases, we can beat or match those "vision center's" prices and our service/philosophy is not even comparable. Beware of those "vision centers" that have a nice fancy office and high-priced decor but usually give you 5-minute service with the doctor, cheap or poor-quality eye wear, potentially inaccurate/rushed recommendations, and even be charged a fortune.
